women to not admire

I am not a political person. I'm wayyy to emotional and right-brained for politics. With that said, I do have my opinions and I understand what's going on with Republicans and Democrats, Fascists and Communists, etc. And my friend Steve likes to call me a feminist, which I suppose I am on some cases...
With that said, I was reading the 100 Most Influential People in Times, and came across "Sarah Palin by Ann Coulter."
Now, I don't know if you know who Ann Coulter is (basically, she is a CRAZY conservative Republican. She's the loud-mouth neo-republican who gives other Republicans a BAD name. Want proof? Spend about five minutes reading the stuff on her website), but I hope you have at least heard of Sarah Palin. The fake tanned, former beauty queen, crazy Alaskan governor who, thank goodness, did NOT become our vice president. Oh and her daughter is now a single mother who almost married the baby daddy because, during the elections, the Republicans pretty took on as a political prisoner.
Okay, so I do have some political opinions, but they spring more out of my "feminist" dislike of Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin.
I feel that there are so many great women out there and I hope to the dear Lord in heaven that no one really looks up to these two ladies. Republican/Democrat aside, the extremes of both of these are nothing but trouble. Moderation is key. Ann Coulter is crazy and Sarah Palin? Talk about a great blemish on American democracy! I don't want to go into all the awful things she did during the campaign and all the stances I disagree with because this isn't about that.
This is about the fact that we need to find proper role models (everyone does!) and in turn become good role models to the next generation. These women are examples of what we must NOT become.
Just read the article; I hope it gives you a good laugh.

PS Thank you to everyone for the last post!! I felt so much better after writing that and reading everyone's kind words

  1. I agree with you on these two women! I like people who are outspoken and passionate about their views but not when it's wrong and offensive. I hope that media will find other great women role models to talk about other than these two. xxoxoxoxo

I think it was sad about the huge palava about Sarah Palin's daughter, she is human after all and things like this happen in the real world.

  3. I'm not a Sarah Palin fan at all. I don't know that much about her because I don't live in the US, but what I do know I don't like.
