why don't you....

{Got this amazing idea from It's Unweavable!}
Summer is quickly coming to a close, and while the fresh, crisp novelty of autumn is always welcome {kind of} in my book, I am going to miss the carefree, lazy dog days. I'm starting my senior year and I know a whole lotta stress is coming my way with AP classes, high school society, swim team, and, of course, you know, those college applications... {bring on the feelings of depression, anxiety, and finger biting!} And others are probably getting ready for work or college as well, so I thought I would post a sort of ending to summer to-do list. You know, before a to-do list becomes nagging rather than fun. So, turn off your cell phones, close your computer, shut off the TV, put down the Pop tart... andddd

{{Why Don't You...}}

Go for a picnic in the park...
Run through a sprinkler, go rollerskating, act like a kid...
Take a ride and blast summer music the whole way...
Have one last hurrah with your friends!

& Enjoy summer o9 before it becomes a memory!

  3. What a lovely list! I love Fall just like anyone else, but I'm am desperately clinging on to summer (I'm in complete denial it's almost over). I know I'll be bundled up in knits and freezing myself off in no time, so it's best to enjoy the warmth and blooming nature as much as possible!

  5. i think my next two weeks will be more like me sweating on books 24/7 to do all that i didn't do in my three months of vacation, before school starts. It's going to be a stressful yera, i'm already feeling a knot in my stomach.. i've been counting the activities i've been carrying on these years, and tried hard to decide which to quit ( because i NEED to QUiT something, heel ) but i just can't.. add this to the stress of wanting to propose yourself as the chief of students, that means having to campaign, try and earn votes, and coping with the stress of a regular election, plus add that we have to start and visit universities even though we miss another year of school before apllying to any of them.........GOD. SUMMER IS TOOOO SHORT.

  6. I so adore "why don't you lists." I also adore picnics in the park. When they include cupcakes and a cute boy, of course. Great post! :)

  7. I'll be sad when summer is over actually. Mostly because it has been one of the better ones I have had in a long time. Some sad news a couple times but otherwise a great one.

  9. Ohh, I want to go on a picnic in the park, seems so nice! The way my weather has been lately I don't know if summer will disappear for me for a month or two, lol, but I hope you enjoy your autumn time!

    Thanks for the good wishes on the race, I am feeling a lot more prepared now! :)By the way, I attempted to make the necklace, but it doesn't compare to the one in the pictures, I'll post pics on my blog soon! Happy almost Monday sweetie.

  10. Love these photos!

    I'm looking forward to the cooler weather. However, I am not looking forward to being back in school. It's so much more fun to spend your days doing whatever you want, as opposed to writing papers and reading textbooks.
